Who is Darth Sidious?
Darth Sidious, also known as Emperor Palpatine, is the main antagonist of the Star Wars saga. Cunning, manipulative, and a master of the dark side of the Force, he is the architect behind the fall of the Republic and the rise of the Galactic Empire.
Born as Sheev Palpatine, he rose to power as a senator from Naboo, but secretly he was a Sith with a grand plan: to destroy the Jedi Order and rule the galaxy. He deceived everyone by presenting himself as a kind and diplomatic politician, while behind the scenes he orchestrated key events such as the Clone Wars. His greatest triumph was corrupting Anakin Skywalker and turning him into Darth Vader, his most feared apprentice.
